Two passengers from Singapore accused of qualified trespass to dwelling have been arrested at the Iloilo International Airport.

The two passengers were arrested on August 26, 2025 for alleged violation of Article 280 of the Revised Penal Code.

The operation was conducted by the Philippine National Police Aviation Security Unit (PNP AVSEU) - Iloilo Airport Police Station (IAPS) in coordination with other government agencies involved in enforcing public security and safety.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines 6, the arrest of the two suspects demonstrates the stringent enforcement of security rules and regulations at airport facilities to secure the public and assure normal airport operations.

Qualified trespass to dwelling means entry of an individual in a house, dwelling place, or property privately owned, sans permission from the legitimate owner or resident. 

The two passengers do not have official statements yet, as of posting time.
