A 32-year-old man died after he was allegedly punched by a friend during a drinking session in Barangay Upper Baan, Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya.
Police said the two argued over an unclear matter before the 25-year-old suspect punched the victim in the head. The victim fell to the ground and could no longer get up.
He was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
The incident happened early morning on Sunday, August 24, 2025.
Authorities arrested the suspect, who is facing a homicide complaint. He has not yet issued a statement.
