A travel vlogger’s drone footage unexpectedly recorded a fistfight between two 12-year-old boys in Barangay Pantal, Dagupan City afternoon on Monday, August 25, 2025.
Jay Ford Ferrer, who was filming travel content, said he could not help but document the scene when the children began fighting.
Gusto ko sana silang pigilan, yung drone mag up and down po siya, kaso talagang tinuloy nila yung away kasi may nag-tempt sa kanila para mag-away,” Ferrer said.
Barangay officials confirmed that the minors involved were both 12 years old, while the teenagers who provoked them were 15 years old.
The children, from different sitios of the barangay, were seemingly pushed into fighting each other.
One of the boys, identified only as “Mark,” explained how the conflict began.
Tapos nagtagu-taguan kami, hinahabol nila kami,” he said.
Mark’s mother, Ester, admitted her frustration after learning the fight was caught on camera.
Barangay Chairperson Julita Perez called for a meeting immediately with the parents, the council, the Philippine National Police, and the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWD).
Counseling sessions were also provided after it was learned that the minors involved are relatives.
Perez reminded both children and parents to be more responsible.
Barangay officials vowed to tighten monitoring in all sitios to prevent similar incidents.
