A 59-year-old midwife died after she was hit and ran over by a trailer truck in Panacan, Davao City on Friday, August 29, 2025.
Based on investigation, the victim was crossing the highway when she was hit and ran over by the truck traveling in the inner lane.
The victim died on the spot while the 27-year-old driver was taken into police custody.
Investigation into the incident continues.
