The body of a man was found inside what was supposed to be an empty tomb at a cemetery in Cotabato City.
The caretaker of Malagpas Cemetery was surprised to find the body when he checked the tomb.
Police said the body was covered with banana leaves.
The victim had injuries in his head and face, which are believed to have caused his death.
Authorities have yet to identify the man, as of this writing.
Investigation is ongoing to identify the perpetrators and determine the motive.
