Tiktok is gone.

The dog named "Tiktok" that survived animal cruelty was ran over by a yet unidentified vehicle on September 7, 2025 in Bacolod City.

According to Bacolod Animal Chance & Hope (BACH) Project PH, the animal rescue group that took custody of Tiktok, the dog was temporarily under the care of a volunteer because of the spread of distemper in the animal shelter, a type of disease among dogs.

However, the volunteer did not notice that Tiktok went out of the house and into the street and was ran over. The dog died on the spot.

On September 8, 2025, a public viewing was carried out for Tiktok before the cremation.

To recall, Tiktok was the dog that survived injuries from five “indyan panâ,” or improvised sling-launched darts, in Barangay Blumentritt, Murcia town, Province of Negros Occidental in February 2025.

Tiktok was rescued by BACH Project PH, went through an operation, recuperated, and even joined a fun run in August 2025 along with other survivors of animal cruelty.
