Ash emission at the summit crater of Kanlaon Volcano in Negros Island occurred at 5:10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), the event generated grayish plumes that rose up to 600 meters above the crater as recorded by the Upper Pantao Volcano Observatory, or the VKUP Internet Protocol (IP) Camera in Canlaon City, Negros Oriental.
Alert Level 2, on ongoing volcanic unrest, prevails over Kanlaon Volcano.
