The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has issued an advisory on a scheduled power interruption in parts of Iloilo Province on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
The power outage is set from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The brownout is expected to affect Iloilo Electric Cooperative (ILECO) 2 - Pototan, Dumangas, Janiuay, and Lublub Substations; and ILECO 3 - Natividad and Banate Substations.
Correction works of the 50MVA Transformer No. 2 OLTC at NGCP's Dingle Substation have been cited as the reason for the scheduled power interruption.
"Specific affected areas are determined by the Electric Cooperatives. NGCP will exert all efforts to restore power earlier or as scheduled," the NGCP advisory added.
