A farmer and a chainsaw operator were shot dead in Sultan Sa Baronigs, Maguindanao del Sur on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
Based on investigation, the victims were on board a motorcycle when they were shot multiple times by a gunman riding another motorcycle in Barangay Langgapanan.
The farmer, who was driving the motorcycle, was found lifeless by residents beside the vehicle. His companion, a chainsaw operator, was found dead several meters away.
Police said the chainsaw operator tried to escape but was eventually hit and fell near a fence.
The victims sustained several gunshot wounds.
Authorities are still investigating the incident to identify the perpetrator and determine the motive.
