Visayas PAGASA Regional Services Division issued Heavy Rainfall Warning No. 4 over areas in Western Visayas and MIMAROPA Regions due to the prevailing Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).
The weather advisory was issued at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
Orange Warning: #Antique
Associated Hazard: FLOODING IS THREATENING in low-lying areas and LANDSLIDES in mountainous areas.
Yellow Warning: #Aklan(Malay, Buruanga, Nabas, Ibajay), #Iloilo(Lambunao, Janiuay, San Joaquin, Miagao, Igbaras, Guimbal, Tigbauan, Oton, Iloilo City, Pavia, Leganes, Leon, Alimodian, Maasin, Tubungan), #Guimaras, #Palawan(Cuyo, Magsaysay and Agutaya)
Associated Hazard: FLOODING IS POSSIBLE in low-lying areas and LANDSLIDES in mountainous areas.
Meanwhile, Light to Moderate with occasionally Heavy rains are expected over #Aklan(Tangalan, Makato, Malinao, Madalag, Libacao), #Capiz(Jamindan, Tapaz), #Iloilo(Calinog), #OccidentalMindoro(Magsaysay, Lubang, Looc, Santa Cruz, Sablayan, San Jose, Calintaan, Rizal), #Palawan(Taytay, Araceli, San Vicente, Roxas and Dumaran) within the next 30 minutes to an hour.
The above conditions are being experienced in #OccidentalMindoro(Paluan, Abra De Ilog, Mamburao), #Palawan(Busuanga, Coron, Culion, El Nido, Linapacan and Cagayancillo) which may persist within two (2) to three (3) hours and may affect nearby areas.
The public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices concerned are advised to MONITOR the weather condition and watch for the next warning to be issued at 2 p.m. on September 17, 2025.
