Tropical Depression #MirasolPH brought heavy rains that triggered flooding and landslides in several parts of Northern Luzon, forcing road closures and evacuations.
#MirasolPH left the Philippine Area of Responsibility morning on Thursday, September 18, 2025, according to PAGASA.
In Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, the Pinacanauan Overflow Bridge was rendered impassable due to rising waters, prompting authorities to redirect motorists to alternate routes.
In Echague, Isabela, both the Annafunan and Gucab overflow bridges were flooded, while the local disaster office kept close watch on the Fugu-Camarag and Narra-Maccalauat bridges for possible overflow.
A landslide was also reported in Barangay Bautista, San Agustin, Isabela, where clearing operations were immediately carried out.
More than 78 residents of Barangay La Paz in Cabatuan, Isabela were evacuated to safer grounds.
In Aurora, floodwaters rose to waist-deep levels in Barangays Calantas and Esperanza, Casiguran, where the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) reported at least 100 houses affected across six barangays.
In Pangasinan, classes were suspended in all levels in Umingan after floods hit Baracbac National High School, inundating offices and classrooms.
Barangays Mauban and Rajal in Balungao were also flooded, with some vehicles stalling on submerged roads. Police officers from the Pangasinan 2nd Mobile Force Company responded and assisted stranded motorists.
