Severe Tropical Storm “Opong” maintains its strength while moving westward over the Philippine Sea, based on PAGASA’s Tropical Cyclone Bulletin Number 10 at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

As of 1 p.m., the center of #OpongPH was estimated based on all available data including those from Guiuan Doppler Weather Radar at 300 km East of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (11.0°N, 128.5°E), packing maximum sustained winds of 110 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 135 km/h, and central pressure of 980 hPa.

#OpongPH is moving westward at 15 km/h, with strong to storm-force winds extending outwards up to 430 km from the center.
