A barangay councilman in Tandubas, Tawi-Tawi was arrested during a drug buy-bust operation on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PDEA-BARMM) identified the suspect as alias “Wads,” 43.
PDEA-BARMM said the suspect was arrested after allegedly selling a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover agent during the sting operation.
Seized from the suspect were sachets of suspected shabu worth around P136,000, drug paraphernalia, and personal belongings.
Authorities said the suspect is one of the targets allegedly involved in the illegal drug trade in the region.
The suspect will face charges for alleged violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (RA 9165).
