An ambulance owned by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Canlaon City, Negros Oriental fell into a stream in Vallehermoso town.

The incident took place morning on September 23, 2025.

Aside from minor cuts, or scrapes, the driver identified as Josefino Manila is already out of danger, as of this writing.

According to Manila, he transported a patient to San Carlos City, Negros Occidental. He was on his way back to Canlaon City, traversing the national highway.

However, while he was trying to avoid crashing into a motorcycle, the steering wheel of the ambulance reportedly went on a lock. He lost control of the vehicle, drove toward the roadside, and fell off the road into a stream.

The driver crawled reportedly back to the road where a rider came to his rescue.

Further, it was learned that the LGU of Canlaon City took care of his medical expenses.
