A newborn baby boy was found abandoned near a dike in Barangay Gualsic, Alcala, Pangasinan, morning on Thursday, September 25, 2025.
A passerby said he was walking along the dike road around 9 a.m. when he heard the baby crying. He searched for the sound and found the child wrapped in cloth under a bamboo tree.
The baby is now under the care of the Rural Health Unit (RHU) for proper medical attention.
Police are investigating to identify who left the infant
