Nineteen individuals were reported to have died due to the effects of tropical cyclones Mirasol, Nando, Opong, and the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said Saturday.

Of this number, 15 are for validation, while four have already been confirmed, the NDRRMC said in its situational report.

Meanwhile, 18 were reported injured, of whom 14 were already confirmed.

Those reported missing numbered 14, the NDRRMC said, adding that all these are being validated.

A total of 2,026,246 individuals or 520,165 families were affected in 15 regions, 57 provinces, 504 cities/municipalities, and 4,219 barangays, the NDRRMC said.

The NDRRMC reported that 407,914 persons or 114,121 families were preemptively evacuated in Regions 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, CARAGA, CAR, and NIR.

Meanwhile, 243 road sections and 46 bridges were affected. Of these, 30 road sections in Region 1 were still not passable as of Saturday.

Some 143 cities and municipalities lost power during the weather disturbances. Of this number, 105 already had their power supply restored.

The NDRRMC also said 5,202 houses were reported damaged, with 708 of these totally damaged. These are in Region 1, Region 2, CAR, Region 3, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Region 5, Region 6, Region 9, and BARMM.

AGRI, INFRA DAMAGE

Agricultural losses were estimated to have reached P914,875,615.50 due to 78,267.08 metric tons of production loss reported.

Damage to infrastructure meanwhile was estimated to be at P822,163,458.08. The damage was reported in Region 1, Region 2, CAR, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Region 6, and Region 7.

Thirty-two cities/municipalities declared state of calamity.

Meanwhile, 84,641 were already assisted out of the estimated 122,800 families needing assistance. Cost of assistance was estimated at P57,928,043.74.
