Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) said Wednesday, October 1, 2025 that the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX), currently the country’s longest bridge, remains safe and passable for motorists following the magnitude 6.9 earthquake that struck Cebu evening on September 30, 2025.
In a statement, MPTC said CCLEX Corporation (CCLEC) conducted an assessment on its main bridge and other road assets, according to a GMA News Online report.
“We have confirmed that the facility remains safe for motorists and continues to be passable,” the toll company said.
“Our hearts go out to our affected kababayans and we offer our prayers for everyone's safety,” it added.
