At least 10 trucks carrying 5,000 food packs and bottled water from Davao City have been sent to Cebu for communities stricken by the deadly magnitude 6.9 earthquake that hit the province on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

Traveling by land and sea, the trucks are expected to arrive in Cebu on Friday, October 3.

Aside from food items, the city government also deployed 57 personnel from various offices, including social workers and psychologists from the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), staff from the City Engineer’s Office, the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), and personnel from the Davao City Police Office.
