A man who was reported missing for several days was found dead inside a drum in Datu Paglas, Maguindanao del Sur.
Residents and motorists alerted authorities after discovering a drum wrapped in a tarpaulin by the road in Sitio Panag, Barangay Malala over the weekend.
Upon investigation, authorities found the body of a man with stab and hack wounds, which they believe were inflicted before he was placed inside the container.
The victim was identified later as a laborer and resident of the town.
According to the Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR), the victim had been reported missing since October 2, 2025.
Authorities are still investigating the incident to identify the perpetrator and determine the motive behind the killing.
