Power transmission services in Cebu and Bohol remain stable despite the magnitude 7.4 earthquake that occurred 44 kilometers northeast of Manay, Davao Oriental at 9:43 a.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025.

The grid remains intact as there had been no reported cases of power interruptions and damaged transmission facilities in areas where the earthquake was felt, according to an advisory issued by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines after the earthquake struck.

PHIVOLCS first recorded the quake at magnitude 7.6 but downgraded it to 7.5 and later to 7.4.
