President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. visited northern Cebu once again on Friday, October 17, 2025.
He came back to check the evacuation center dubbed “Bayanihan Village” in San Remigio town where 200 family tents have been pitched by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), while the Department of Human Settlement and Urban Development (DHSUD) set up 50 modular units or smart houses.
The President inspected the facility and checked on the victims of the deadly earthquake that rocked Cebu evening on September 30, 2025.
This is the President's second visit in northern Cebu since the earthquake struck.
