At least 10 vehicles figured in a smash-up in Nabas town, Province of Aklan.
The incident happened in Barangay Libertad, Nabas evening on October 20, 2025.
Eight private cars and vans and two parked motorcycles were involved in the vehicular smash-up. A 10-wheeler truck, loaded with bags of sugar, overshot on the national highway and caused reportedly the smash-up.
There were drivers and passengers rushed to the hospital, but no major injuries were reported.
According to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Nabas, no casualty was reported.
The driver and truckboy of the 10-wheeler vehicle are also reported to be out of danger.
As of this writing, police investigation is ongoing as to the definite cause of the incident.
