The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Iloilo Station has assured it is 100-percent prepared for the observance of All Saints Day and All Souls Day on November 1 and 2, 2025, or "Tigkalalag 2025."

PCG-Iloilo Station Commander Richard Gura, in an interview with GMA Super Radyo Iloilo, said that personnel are all set to ensure safety and security of travelers in and out of the province’s ports.

Among these piers are Dumangas Port, Bay-ang Port in Ajuy, Fast Craft in Lapuz, Iloilo City,  Lapuz Terminal, and Parola Wharf.

Gura said that from October 30, 2025 to November 4, 2025, PCG Iloilo will have a passenger assistance center - a desk that would accommodate concerns of passengers at various ports.

Three special categories of K9 dogs of the PCG will be used in the operations. The three categories are Explosive Detection Dog (EDD), Narcotic Detection Dog (NDD), and Search and Rescue Dog (SARD).

PCG Iloilo vowed it has medical teams to serve fully during the observance of All Saints Day and All Souls Day 2025.

PCG Iloilo has reminded travelers to avoid bringing items deemed contraband, and deadly weapons and sharp objects such as knives to avoid inconveniences and brush with the law.
