Two ash emission events at the summit crater of Kanlaon Volcano in Negros Island were recorded on Friday, October 24, 2025.

The ash emission events lasted 26 minutes to 119 minutes long.

These events generated voluminous grayish plumes that rose up to 600 meters tall above the crater before drifting west-southwest and northwest.

At least five volcanic earthquakes were recorded within a 24-hour observation period.

Sulfur dioxide flux released on October 23, 2025 measured 1,196 tons.

Alert Level 2, or increased unrest, prevails over Kanlaon Volcano.
