The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) rescued four fishermen who were stranded at sea for almost three days after their boat broke down off the coast of Mariveles, Bataan.
Authorities found the fishermen on October 15, 2025 after their boat’s alternator failed, leaving them drifting since October 12.
Three of the fishermen underwent medical evaluation, while one was reported to be in good condition.
The PCG continues to strengthen its search and rescue operations to ensure the safety of fishermen and other sea travelers across the country.
