At least 21 volcanic earthquakes were recorded on Kanlaon Volcano in Negros Island within a 24-hour observation period from 12 a.m. of October 24, 2025 to 12 a.m. of October 25, 2025, following a moderately explosive eruption that lasted three minutes long past 8 p.m. on October 24, 2025. 

Sulfur dioxide flux released on October 24, 2025 measured 189 tons. 

Moderate emission generated a 75-meter-tall plume that drifted northwest.

Alert Level 2, or increased unrest, prevails over Kanlaon Volcano.

The volcano edifice remains inflated, or ground deformation is apparent.
