Flower vendors in Dagupan City have begun setting up their stalls and arranging blooms ahead of Undas, with prices for most flowers remaining steady as of Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
Families were also seen repainting and decorating graves early at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Barangay Poblacion Oeste to avoid the expected crowd on All Saints’ Day. Among them was Zenaida Reyes, who said they chose to visit ahead of November 1.
“Sa 31 na kami pupunta rito kasi sobrang daming tao kaya sa 31 na,” Reyes said.
“Kasi asawa ko rin ‘yung namatay, kailangan din. Mahilig nga sa bulaklak, tignan mo nga ‘yung amin, pinalagyan ko na ng bulaklak,” she added.
Outside the cemetery, flower vendors have already lined up to sell their products to early visitors. Among them were sisters from Baguio City, who traveled to Dagupan to try their luck this season.
“Sabi po ng kapatid ko, i-try namin ngayon para ano. Baka sakaling swertehin,” Olga Clores, one of the vendors, said.
Clores said they have been selling flowers outside the cemetery for three days and noted that prices have not increased yet.
“Ok lang naman po, sakto lang, kasi walang masyadong taong dumadaan pa kaya hindi pa masyadong tumataas,” she said.
As of Tuesday, radus flowers were priced at P180 to P200 per dozen, while arranged flowers ranged from P80 to P150. Vendors expect prices to go up in the coming days depending on supply.
