Seven people, including two minors, were injured after an SUV collided with a truck along the national highway in Barangay Sillawit, Cauayan City, Isabela, afternoon on Wednesday, October 29.
Police said the SUV reportedly swerved into the opposite lane, prompting the truck driver to swerve to avoid it.
However, the SUV still hit the side of the truck, causing heavy damage to the vehicle.
The SUV driver and six passengers were brought to a hospital nearby for treatment. The truck driver, who was delivering rice husks to Alicia, Isabela, was unharmed.
Both parties are yet to release a statement as of press time.
