The Provincial Government of Guimaras has announced of the suspension of classes at all levels, both public and private, from November 3-5, 2025, due to #TinoPH.
The suspension is based on PAGASA's weather bulletin on expected heavy rainfall and potential flooding in several areas of the province as #TinoPH crosses the Visayas regions.
"In view of this, the suspension of classes is implemented to ensure the safety and welfare of students, teachers, and school personnel," a post on the Province of Guimaras page reads.
"This directive is issued under the authority of Acting Governor Felipe Hilan Nava. An Executive Order formalizing this suspension will follow," the post added.
The public is advised to remain vigilant and to monitor continuously official updates from PAGASA, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, and the Provincial Government of Guimaras.
