A 62-year-old woman who had just visited her departed loved one at Mt. Apo Garden Memorial Park in Calinan, Davao City died after she was hit by a car past 7 p.m. on All Souls’ Day, November 2, 2025.
According to a report by GMA Super Radyo Davao, the victim was a resident of New Loon, Tugbok District.
Based on investigation, the car was traveling the Davao-Bukidnon Road from Calinan proper when it hit the senior citizen who was crossing the street.
Because of the impact, the victim died on the spot.
The driver was taken into police custody.
