More than 456,000 individuals visited cemeteries across Northern Mindanao during the observance of All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day.

According to the Police Regional Office-Northern Mindanao (PRO-10), this number was recorded from October 29 to November 2, 2025.

Despite the large number of visitors, PRO-10 said the observance was generally peaceful, with no Undas-related incident was reported.

“Although aduna kita’y mga recorded nga mga traffic accident but mao lang kana ang atoang mga na-monitor for the observance of Undas,” PRO-10 Spokesperson, Major Joann Navarro, said.

Police added that the number of prohibited items confiscated was minimal, mostly matches and lighters, which were later returned to owners upon leaving.

“As to kanang mga bladed weapon or katung other pa nga mga items nga atoa na gi-advise sa atoang mga kaigsuonan nga bawal, wala kita’y na-confiscate gyud niana,” Navarro added.

PRO-10 also said no police personnel were penalized for negligence during the observance, and the security plan was implemented successfully.

“So far, overall, very satisfied ang atoang Regional Director as to the implementation of security plan,” Navarro said.
