The observance of Undas in the Cordillera Region and Regions 1, 2, and 3 was generally peaceful, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP).

Authorities reported only a few minor incidents, which were resolved immediately with the help of force multipliers and local government units.

In Baguio City, police said the situation in cemeteries remained under control despite the large number of visitors. More than 43,000 people visited burial sites over the weekend this 2025, higher than the 30,200 visitors recorded on 2024.

Meanwhile, in Dagupan City, at least 220 police personnel remained deployed in cemeteries and transport terminals to ensure safety and assist travelers.

“Yung mga bus station natin, baka marami pong humahabol na hindi nakipagsiksikan noong Linggo kaya tinututukan pa rin po natin ‘yan,” PCOL. Orly Pagaduan said.

PNP officials credited the smooth observance to strong coordination among agencies and volunteers under the police’s travel security plan.

“Dahil din ito sa ating Implan Kalmang Paglalakbay. Actually, that is a collective effort with different agencies, LGU, at ating volunteers,” PMAJ. Marcy Grace Marron said.
