Authorities arrested 13 people, including eight minors, in an anti-illegal drug operation in Barangay Bonfal West, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.
Police said the minors, 13 to 17 years old, were found inside a suspected drug den during the raid on Sunday, November 2, 2025.
Recovered from the operation were nearly four grams of illegal drugs, including about three grams of marijuana, along with more than P2,000 in cash, several cellphones, and drug paraphernalia.
Police said those of legal age will face appropriate charges, while the minors are now under the custody of the PNP Women and Children Protection Desk. They will be turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for proper intervention.
Authorities have yet to release statements from the arrested suspects.
