The cool breeze of November has drawn crowds of visitors to Baguio City, where temperatures dropped between 16 and 24 degrees Celsius during the long weekend.

Local authorities said they expect even more tourists following the observance of Undas, as families take advantage of the pleasant weather for a quick getaway.

They reminded visitors to be patient in finding parking spots, as some tourist areas have limited spaces.

Business owners said they started noticing the influx of visitors as early as the semestral break.

“Noong sem break po nagsimulang magsi-akyatan yung mga tao dito sa Baguio,” Emz, a local business owner, said.

Tourists also praised the city for its clean surroundings and refreshing atmosphere.

“Napakalinis ng lugar na ito. Wala kang makikitang ano, so nakapasarap langhapin ng hangin,” Maricar, a tourist, said.

According to PAGASA, the temperature in Baguio could continue to drop in the coming months as the northeast monsoon, or amihan, persists.

Meanwhile, several vacationers spent the long weekend along the beach of San Fabian, Pangasinan.

“Maganda kasi kapag sa beach, enjoy, masaya,” Cris Cabrera, a beachgoer from Talavera, Nueva Ecija, said.
