More than 100 domestic flights, mostly from several areas in Mindanao, were canceled on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, due to the effects of #TinoPH while sea trips from Southeastern Mindanao to the Visayas have also been suspended.
Based on advisories from Philippine Airlines (PAL) and Cebu Pacific, 69 flights under PAL and 66 flights under Cebu Pacific were canceled, which include routes from Davao, Butuan, Dipolog, Ozamiz, Cagayan de Oro, Siargao, and Zamboanga, as well as return flights.
Most of the flights affected were bound for Cebu and Manila.
Affected passengers have been advised not to proceed to the airports and area encouraged to rebook their tickets, convert them into travel credits or travel funds, or request a refund.
"We always advise our flying public to closely coordinate with the airline of choice and monitor their flights at the end of the day. Airlines ang naa’y hold ani na situation, although, we monitor the situation in other airports,” Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Davao Manager, Engr. Rex Obcena, said.
Meanwhile, the Philippine Coast Guard District Southeastern Mindanao also announced the suspension of sea travel from Southeastern Mindanao to the Visayas.
Coast Guard personnel remain on standby to respond to emergencies and assist affected areas.
