Retrieval teams have recovered another victim from the landslide site in Sitio Tagoon, Sapangdaku, Cebu City, bringing the total to two retrieved victims. 

Recovery efforts are ongoing to locate the remaining person, said Bureau of Fire Protection 7 Cebu City Fire Station. 

“Our deepest sympathies and prayers go out to the family and loved ones of the victims. May they find strength and comfort during this difficult time,” BFP 7 Cebu City Fire Station said in a post on November 6, 2025.

 Authorities continue to remind the public to avoid landslide-prone areas and stay vigilant amid unstable soil conditions.

Personnel of the Cebu City Fire Station, Special Rescue Force, Philippine National Police, and other volunteers retrieved evening on November 5, 2025, the body of one of three persons who went missing when a landslide struck Sitio Tagoon, following the onslaught of #TinoPH. 

The barangay is one of the areas in the city affected greatly by the typhoon. 

As of 10 a.m. on November 6, 2025, at least 30 persons died in Cebu City.
