The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 said the reported death toll has increased to 232 and the number of missing individuals to 112, following the onslaught of Typhoon Tino (international name: Kalmaegi).
In an update, the OCD said the fatalities were recorded in the following areas:
Cebu Province - 150
Negros Occidental - 42
Negros Oriental - 21
Agusan del Sur - 6
Capiz - 3
Dinagat Islands - 2
Southern Leyte - 2
Leyte - 2
Antique - 1
Iloilo - 1
Guimaras - 1
Bohol - 1
Based on a GMA News Online report, a total of 112 people were reported as still missing including 57 in Cebu Province, 50 in Negros Occidental, and five in Negros Oriental.
Also, a total of 523 people were reported injured including 451 in Cebu Province, 41 in Leyte, 28 in Negros Occidental, two in Surigao del Norte, and one in Surigao del Sur, according to the OCD.
Typhoon Tino made landfalls over Silago, Southern Leyte; Borbon, Cebu; and Sagay City, Negros Occidental on November 4. Life-threatening conditions continued over Negros Island Region and then Tino approached Panay Island.
On November 5, Tino accelerated over the coastal waters of El Nido, Palawan.
Tino on November 6 exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
