The City Government of Davao has extended assistance anew to the victims of calamity in Cebu.
At least 16 trucks loaded with relief goods left Wednesday morning, November 12, 2025, to deliver aid to those affected by Typhoon Tino in the island.
The trucks, bearing tarpaulins marked “From the People of Davao City,” carried more than 4,000 family food packs, 2,000 bottles of water, and medicines, according to Davao City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) Head Alfredo Baloran.
The relief goods will be turned over to the drop-off point at the Cebu Provincial Warehouse.
“Ang ilahang drop off point for all mga relief goods didto sailang warehouse sa ilahang provincial warehouse so didto nato dal-on ang welfare gpods nga mga dala from Davao City,” Baloran said.
Aside from in-kind aid, CDRRMO also brought P3.9 million in financial assistance for the Cebu provincial government and cities and towns that declared a state of calamity following the magnitude 6.9 earthquake last September 30.
“Dala na pud namo ang financial assistance para sa mga LGU sa province of Cebu nga affected atong linog ato pong i-hand over sa ilaha ihatod nato didto sa LGU,” Baloran added.
Personnel from Davao City are expected to arrive in Cebu by Thursday morning.
