Several areas in Ilagan City, Isabela remained flooded days after Super Typhoon #UwanPH battered Northern Luzon, leaving hundreds of families stranded in their homes.

Some residents were forced to stay on their rooftops as water levels rose further following the release of water from Magat Dam.

TRACK OF #UWANPH

Uwan entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) early on the week of its landfall.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), Uwan made landfall over Dinalungan, Aurora at around 9:10 p.m. (PHT) on Sunday, November 9, 2025.

At landfall, Uwan was classified as a super typhoon, packing maximum sustained winds of 185 km/h near the center and gusts up to 230 km/h, with a central pressure of 935 hPa.

PAGASA noted that as the storm crossed the mountainous terrain of Northern Luzon, its interaction with land would cause significant weakening, but it was expected to remain at typhoon strength during its passage.
