Relief and recovery efforts in Catanduanes continued as the provincial government distributed more food packs to families affected by Super Typhoon #UwanPH.
Food packs were turned over to Tubli (795 packs), Inalmasinan (238 packs), Hitoma (198 packs), and Bulalacao (197 packs).
Catanduanes Chief of Staff, Atty. Ramil Joselito B. Tamayo also visited several barangays in Caramoran during the delivery of the relief goods.
In addition, 439 DSWD Family Food Packs were also turned over to SK Chairperson Marisol Sales of Palumbanes.
These will be temporarily stored at MDRRMO-Caramoran and distributed to residents on November 12 to ensure organized and timely assistance to affected families on the island.
The provincial government said it remains committed to ensuring that every affected household receives support to help ease their recovery from the typhoon.
