Authorities have summoned three individuals who may have knowledge about the killing of Niruh Kyle Antatico, a former employee of the National Irrigation Administration-Northern Mindanao (NIA-10).

The information they may give could aid in the investigation.

The Special Investigation Task Group (SITG) Antatico continues its case build-up to identify the perpetrators behind the killing.

Police clarified that the three are not considered persons of interest in the case, at least for now.

“Atong tinguha nga unta matumbok gyud nato ang mag persons of interest kini atong subpoena hinaot ma considera nga hulaton nato ang next SITG meeting para sa full disclosure,” Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO) Spokesperson, Capt. Emelita Simon, said.

Antatico was shot dead while driving his car in Barangay Patag on October 10, 2025.

Authorities have been investigating whether the killing was connected to his alleged exposés on corruption involving NIA-10 projects.

NIA has already offered a P100,000 reward for information that may help identify and arrest the gunmen and the mastermind.
