Police arrested a 42-year-old woman at her home during an anti-illegal drug operation in Barangay San Miguel, Talavera, Nueva Ecija.

Authorities said the suspect was listed as a high-value individual in the illegal drug trade.

During the operation on November 10, 2025, an undercover officer bought a sachet of suspected shabu from the woman. Police later recovered 10 more sachets of shabu and ₱1,000 in marked money from her possession.

“Ayon sa kaniya, ‘yung source niya ay galling pa ng Metrol Manila. Nakausap niya lang sa Facebook at hindi niya kilala kung sino ‘yung supplier niya,” PLTCOL. Rogelio Pacificar Jr., chief of the Talavera Police Station, said.

The seized drugs weighed around 60 grams and were valued at about ₱408,000.

The suspect is now detained at the Talavera Police Station and faces charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (Republic Act 9165).

The suspect has yet to issue a statement.
