Parts of the Banaue Rice Terraces in Ifugao, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, were damaged after landslides hit Barangay Batad during the onslaught of Super Typhoon #UwanPH.
Reports said two people died in the area, while several homes were buried in mud and soil.
Residents have appealed for help to clear the debris and restore the terraces to their original state.
The local government of Banaue has since declared a state of calamity following the damage caused by the super typhoon.
