Police Brigadier General Victor Rosete has been reinstated as the director of the Police Regional Office-Davao (PRO-11) on Friday, November 14, 2025, nearly five months after he was relieved from the same post.

It can be recalled that Rosete was replaced by Brigadier General Joseph Arguelles as the region’s top cop in June 2025.

The change of office ceremony was presided over by PNP deputy chief for administration, Lt. Gen. Bernard Banac.

“Gen. Rosete, we count on you to sustain the operational gains, enhance community engagement and ensure that every police station, every patrol, every response embodies of mantra,” Banac said.

Rosete vowed to deliver results that would reflect the confidence placed in him by the PNP leadership.

“As I reassume this post, I intend not to repeat what has been done but to enhance what we have been. We will revisit the gains we have achieved, improve on what worked, and address the areas where we fell short,” Rosete said.

Meanwhile, Arguelles has been reassigned to the Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit under the Directorate for Personnel and Records Management.

“As I close this chapter of my journey, I leave with no regrets, only gratitude - gratitude for the privilege to lead such an exceptional team,” Arguelles said.
