Two drunk men were arrested after they allegedly refused to pay more than ₱11,000 worth of drinks at a restobar in Mangaldan, Pangasinan.
They even reportedly insulted responding police officers.
The Mangalden Police Station said it received a complaint from the establishment around 1 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, after the two men reportedly refused to settle their bill.
When officers arrived, the men allegedly cursed at them, flashed a middle finger, and claimed they had relatives who were police officials.
The suspects were arrested and are now facing appropriate charges.
When the news team spoke with them, both men admitted they acted out of drunkenness and apologized to the police.
PLt.Col. Perlito Tuayon, chief of the Mangalden Police Station, reminded the public to respect law enforcers who are performing their duties.
“Kailangan po i-respeto naman po ‘yung ating mga law enforcement officers dahil ginagawa din po namin ‘yung trabaho namin. To the point na hindi rin po dapat kami ganun din. Syempre kailangan din po namin i-implement ‘yun para hindi rin po tularan ng iba,” Tuayon said.
