Repair crews in Nueva Vizcaya continue to work nonstop on damaged power lines after Super Typhoon #UwanPH, with the Nueva Vizcaya Electric Cooperative (NUVELCO) expecting full restoration by December 12, 2025.

NUVELCO General Manager Fredel Salvador said teams have been fixing broken wires and toppled poles every day, even in remote and hard-to-reach areas of the province.

The cooperative estimates that around 19,000 families were affected by the power outage.

At least 20,896 electric poles were damaged during the typhoon.

Electric cooperatives from other countries also deployed teams to help restore power lines in Nueva Vizcaya.
