Police continue their investigation into a shooting in Cabanatuan City where a barangay chairman escaped unharmed after gunmen on a motorcycle ambushed him.
Police said the victim, Domingo de Dios of Barangay Cabu, was driving his pickup truck on Magallanes Street when the suspects rode up and opened fire.
De Dios immediately got out of his vehicle and ran toward a school nearby, where he managed to stay safe.
The incident happened evening on Saturday, November 15, 2025.
Authorities have not released a statement as the investigation continues. Police are looking into the motive and identifying who was behind the shooting.
GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon is also trying to get a statement from the victim as of press time.
