Mount Kanlaon in Negros Island emitted smoke with ashes twice morning on Monday, November 24, 2025.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), the first ash emission event was recorded at 5:54 a.m. to 6 a.m.

Another ash emission event occurred at 6:54 a.m. that lasted until 7:28 a.m.

PHIVOLCS has not monitored any ashfall, nor was there any changes to the magmatic activity of the volcano.

Alert Level 2 prevails over Kanlaon Volcano.

Meanwhile, PHIVOLCS has issued an advisory on possible lahar flow in rivers and drainages around Mount Kanlaon.

The public has been advised to remain vigilant.
