A 52-year-old man was shot dead while riding his bicycle along the Maharlika Highway in Barangay Dicarma, Cabanatuan City in broad daylight.
Police said the victim was biking when a lone gunman on a motorcycle suddenly fired at him on Saturday, November 22, 2025.
The suspect wore a helmet and jacket and fled quickly after the victim fell to the ground.
Tricycle drivers waiting nearby told investigators they heard several gunshots before seeing the victim collapse on the road.
Authorities continue their investigation and have launched Oplan Bakod and a manhunt operation to track down the gunman.
The victim’s family has yet to release a statement as of press time.
