Authorities seized a parcel containing suspected dried marijuana bricks weighing five kilos in Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte.

Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PDEA-BARMM) intercepted the illegal drugs before they were shipped from a hub in Barangay Salimbao on November 22, 2025.

PDEA-BARMM confiscated five bags, with each containing dried marijuana brick weighing a total of five kilos and worth around P600,000.

Authorities said the parcel was from a certain “Joaquin” and was shipped to an alias “Raihana.” They are being investigated for their alleged involvement in the transportation of illegal drugs.

The identified suspects may face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (RA 9165).
